Note on Refunds for Sites with Multi-Registration
This section applies only to sites with our Multi-Registration flow enabled.
Issuing Refunds
During the regular Refund process, you can also refund (multi-)registration transactions, including self-donations, made during the registration process. In order to do so, follow these steps:
Go to the Admin Donations Report (Profile > Admin > Reports > Donations Report), and select the correct transaction.
Click the Refund button in the bottom right of the menu that appears.
Select the specific items you want to refund, check amounts and enter a reason for the refund.
Your chosen items will be refunded. This may affect items created or used during the initial transaction (teams, pages, tickets, etc).
Regarding P2P Pages created from Registration:
When you refund a Registration (even a free one), it will delete the fundraising page made during the registration process. This will not refund the donation, made during multi-registration.
If you want to refund the donation made during the multi-registration process, you must select the correct entry under the “Self Donations” block.
Refunding only the donation, made during multi-registration, will not delete the attached fundraising page and will not refund the registration ticket price.
So, in order to fully refund everything a person paid for a single registration during the multi-registration process, you must refund both the “Registration” and “Self Donations“ blocks.
